Main Features of the ADVENTURE System:

Compared with conventional CAE systems, the main features of the ADVENTURE system are summarized as follows :

1. Complex shaped model with 10 - 100 million DOF mesh
   (Few million DOFs at most)
2. High-parallel efficiency of 90 % even for 2000 PEs
   (Never worked in MPPs)
3. Portability : Single PC, PC cluster, MPPs such as Earth simulator, Grid/ITBL environment
   (Single PE, Small scale cluster)
4. Free license / Open source
   (Only binary code, Expensive license fee)
5. Extensibility and maintainability : Module-based architecture and standardized I/O
   (IGES, Closed architecture)
